DHX MEDIA SIGNS SALES AGREEMENT WITH VOOM HD NETWORKS
Series Wins ACT award

Halifax, NS – 11 June 2007 – DHX Media Ltd. (AIM & TSX ticker: “DHX”), a leading independent international producer and distributor of television programming and interactive content, is pleased to announce the completion of a sales agreement with VOOM HD Networks’ Animania and Family Room, for the US premieres of Urban Vermin and The Latest Buzz coupled with another deal for the international live action hit Naturally Sadie. VOOM HD Networks’ Animania and Family Room are two channels dedicated to high definition programming for kids and families. Twenty-six half-hour episodes of Urban Vermin will be featured on VOOM’s Animania HD and VOOM’s Family Room HD will premiere 13 episodes of the new live action show The Latest Buzz. In addition, Family Room HD will also launch season three of the popular series, Naturally Sadie. This deal is another example of DHX delivering on the strategy of exploiting new content platforms.

POKO wins ACT Award
The award winning stop-motion animation preschool series POKO produced by DHX Media Ltd.’s Halifax Film was recently honoured by The Alliance for Children and Television (ACT). POKO received an Award for Excellence in Animation for the ages three-to-five category and was the Grand Prize winner for Best Program in all categories.

“From the inside out there isn’t a more solid show for preschoolers,” says Cheryl Hassen, COO Halifax Film. “POKO took on a huge challenge in focusing on the emotional intelligence of young children. It tackled this new content area, combined it with first rate stop-motion animation and above all else made a show that is funny and fun.”

About Urban Vermin
In production for YTV, CGI series Urban Vermin is an action comedy starring two raccoon brothers. Aimed at six-to-12-year-old’s, Urban Vermin is currently in production for Canada’s YTV. Jetix Europe has recently acquired pay TV, TV distribution, home video and consumer product rights for Europe to the series. TV Distribution to be serviced by Buena Vista International Television on behalf of Jetix Europe. DHX Media is also producing ancillary digital materials to accompany the traditional television launch.

The Latest Buzz is a comedy for tweens, which has been commissioned by The Family Channel in Canada. DHX Media holds worldwide distribution rights.

About Naturally Sadie
Naturally Sadie has sold worldwide with broadcasters including Disney Channel US, Nickelodeon International, Nickelodeon Asia and Nickelodeon UK, MBC3, Family Channel in Canada, ABC Australia and France 2 all airing the smart, character driven series for eight-to-12-year-old’s.
