DHX MEDIA ANNOUNCES NEW COMEDY SERIES

Halifax, NS – 26 January 2009 – DHX Media Ltd (AIM & TSX ticker: “DHX”), a leading independent international producer and distributor of television programming and interactive content, is pleased to announce the commissioning by Corus Entertainment’s YTV of That’s So Weird! a live-action sketch comedy series produced by DHX Media subsidiary Halifax Film. Production of the series, comprised of 13 half-hour episodes, is set to begin immediately, with delivery of episodes expected to commence in March 2009. DHX Media subsidiary, Decode International, will handle worldwide sales.
